MOWCA Participants Enjoy the “Language Challenge” at BP3IP Jakarta

Jakarta — Laughter and cultural connection filled the air during the “Language Challenge” activity held at BP3IP Jakarta, as participants of the IMO Specialized Training Program from West and Central African (MOWCA) countries took part in a fun linguistic exchange.

In this interactive session, participants enthusiastically tried some of Indonesia’s and Java’s most popular local expressions such as “Jos Gandos!”, “Enak Tenan!”, and “Mantap Betul!”. The activity turned into a joyful and memorable moment that brought everyone closer through humor, learning, and friendship.

The event showcased how learning at BP3IP goes beyond technical maritime training — it also promotes cultural understanding and global collaboration. Through this exchange, BP3IP continues to strengthen its role as an international maritime education hub that fosters inclusivity, diversity, and mutual respect.

“One of the best parts of this training is how it connects us beyond the classroom. It’s not just about maritime knowledge — it’s about sharing experiences, cultures, and memories,” said one of the organizing team members.

The event once again proves that BP3IP Jakarta is not only a center for maritime education and training but also a bridge that connects maritime professionals from around the world. 🌊⚓
