Welcome To Indonesia BATCH 2
The Training of Trainer (ToT) IMO Model Course 6.09 and Training of Examiner (TOE) IMO Model Course 3.12 Batch II have been officially opened.
This program is an initiative of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Human Resources Development Agency on Transportation (BPSDM Perhubungan). This training is fully supported by the Indonesian Agency for International Development (Indonesian Aid / LDKPI) and organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Batch II, held from October 20-31, 2025 , is attended by 18 participants for T.O.T 6.09 and 18 participants for T.O.E 3.12. The participants are representatives from partner countries (MOWCA members), including the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Republic of Liberia, Republic of Benin, Republic of Senegal, and Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
As planned, the Jakarta Merchant Marine College (BP3IP Jakarta) will host the T.O.T IMO Model Course 6.09 , while the Merchant Marine Higher Education & Training Institute (STIP Jakarta) will host the T.O.E IMO Model Course 3.12.
The objectives of these programs are to enhance the capacity of maritime instructors and examiners in MOWCA member states , strengthen maritime education and training in line with IMO standards, particularly the STCW Convention , and foster closer cooperation between Indonesia and African partner countries in the maritime sector.
This event is also a tangible manifestation of Indonesia’s commitment under the South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) framework to support global sustainable development.
