Congratulations To The MOWCA Participants Batch I
🇮🇩🤝🌍 A Significant Step Forward for Global Maritime Safety and Cooperation!
We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Batch I of the international training programs: Training of Trainer (ToT) IMO Model Course 6.09 and Training of Examiner (TOE) IMO Model Course 3.12.
Held from October 6–17, 2025, this first batch was a key initiative under Indonesia’s commitment to the South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) framework.
The program, organized by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia through BPSDM Perhubungan , was specifically designed to enhance the capacity of maritime instructors and examiners from our partner countries in the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA).
Participants from countries including the Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, and others dedicated themselves to intensive learning:
The T.O.T 6.09 focused on effective teaching methods, instructional planning, and microteaching, held at BP3IP Jakarta.
The T.O.E 3.12 covered assessment methods and examination standards in accordance with IMO-STCW requirements, held at STIP Jakarta.
Congratulations to all graduates! This achievement not only strengthens maritime education in line with IMO standards , but also further solidifies the diplomatic ties and cooperation between Indonesia and our African partners. We reaffirm Indonesia’s commitment to advancing maritime safety and human resources development for years to come.
Now, we look forward to welcoming Batch II from October 20–31, 2025!
